He is absolutely 100% correct.
I HATE all of this diving and embellishment of small body contact that is resulting is completely unjust red cards for innocent players this World Cup. The teams that have shown this during this World Cup have lost any remaining respect I may have previously had for them. It's just stupid and it makes you, your team, and your country look bad.
I am incredibly gracious that my country's team is one of the few who take no part in this. I would somewhat feel ashamed to route for the United States if all they did was make the country seem as if it were made of weak, fragile people who act like children to get what they want.
These are grown men dammit! I'm an underweight 17 year old and I only get knocked down when Someone "really" fouls me and the laws of physics are the only reason I'm not still on my feet. Not when someone grabs my shirt a little or touches me on my shoulder. Hell, even when I get hit in the face by another player, I don't get on the ground and roll around like I've been shot!
Bob Bradley is a great coach and I approve of his message. I couldn't have said it any better.
